LG Nexus 5 Looks Amazing in Fan Rendering
When Google announced Android 4.4 KitKat a couple of weeks ago, one of the company’s representatives was caught on camera using a mysterious LG Smartphone to take photos of the new Android statue. Well, everybody speculated that he was actually holding the new Nexus 5, but apart from some leaked photos we have nothing about the Nexus 4 follow-up.One of the strangest things about the Nexus 5 photos grabbed from the FCC filling was the absence of the phone’s earpiece, some speculating that it might be because of bad lighting or because the earpiece was blurred on purpose. Others say that it will use bone-conducting technology, which actually checks with Matias Duarte’s statements saying that his design objective is “a blank slab of glass.”Reddit user Vovicon has took some time to analyse all the Nexus 5 leaks so far and managed to create a rendering of the highly-anticipated handset. The result? An amazingly-looking Smartphone that is a reminiscent of the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus, but that has a whole piece of glass on the front panel.Reports say that the Nexus 5 will be based on LG G2′s hardware platform, therefore we should expect it to arrive with a 5.2-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz, Andreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, LTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy. Other rumours say that the Nexus 4 successor will not borrow the chipset from the G2, as it will pack the cheaper Snapdragon 600 SoC, which will allow Google and LG to set the same $300 price point for the new handset. There are also some speculations regarding the camera sensors mounted on the back of the Nexus 5. While some say that it will have the same 13 MP camera as the LG G2, other voices claim that the N5 will come with a whole new different camera unit developed in house by Google.
